Manuel Pierattelli

One of the most promising voices of his generation, Italian tenor Manuel Pierattelli has already appeared on major Italian stages working with conductors such as Fabio Luisi, Riccardo Frizza, Christopher Franklin and Andrea Battistoni, and with directors like Franco Zeffirelli, Filippo Crivelli and Rolando Panerai.

A winner of several vocal competitions, including  IV Concorso internazionale di canto lirico e da camera in Vercelli, he is currently a resident member of Teatro Carlo Felice in Genova.

He took part in several productions of Genova’s Teatro Carlo Felice, including Donizetti’s L’Elisir d’amore (Nermorino) and La fille du régiment, Bernstein’s Candide, Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi (Rinuccio), Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette (Roméo), Verdi’s Macbeth (Malcom), as well as in the new contemporary work Che fine ha fatto la piccola Irene (Cecé Collura) by Marco Betta and Andrea Camilleri.

Active also on the concert side, he sang Mozart’s Requiem and Coronation Mass K317, Giuseppe Lidarti’s Ester and Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle.

His discography includes Andrea Luchesi’s Ademira (Tactus), Giuseppe Nicolini’s L’amor mugnaio (Bongiovanni), as well as Puccini’s Turandot live from Teatro Carlo Felice in Genova (DVD; Bongiovanni).
