Timing Your Night
FROM THE NEW WORLD: A SYMPHONIC OPENING - 5 MARCH 2022
Making each moment count!
1) How long is the Concert?
The Overture for a Centenary is approximately 13 minutes long. The Symphony should last around 41 minutes. It contains 4 movements:
1. Adagio. Allegro molto

3. Molto vivace
4. Allegro con fuoco
The full programme, including the National Anthem on arrival of H.E. The President of Malta, is expected to last around 70 minutes.
2) At what time should I arrive?
Patrons are usually recommended to take their seats between 30 and 15 minutes prior to the commencement. However, you are free to come to the theatre anytime. The catering establishment on the ground floor will have plenty of space to host you. Queuing takes place indoors on the ground floor lobby. Gates will open at 7pm.
