THE MUSIC OF ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER - 19 NOVEMBER 2022
Easy come, easy go...
1) How do I get to the theatre?
If you’re in Victoria, you needn’t worry. We’re right in the heart of the town so you may walk your way to the House. Public transport in Gozo may not run after the performance, so you may need your own transport. If you’re in Malta, you most certainly have to travel by boat.
2) Parking your vehicle on the day
The Teatru tal-Opra Aurora’s main entrance is situated in lower Republic Street on the left hand side (going uphill). Ample free and unlimited parking is available at the Victoria’s central Car Park, only a 100m distance from the theatre premises’ rear entrance. The parking that is usually available outside the main entrance is likely to be reserved on the night. The main entrance is recommended for patrons with mobility restrictions.
3) Elevator and Accessibility
Wheelchair users and patrons with restricted mobility may use the passenger elevator. Those who require some time and ease in climbing a flight of steps are requested to call at the theatre from the main entrance, 15 minutes prior to the opening of the gates. Patrons are kindly asked to inform the theatre personnel beforehand so that arrangements can be made and special care taken.
Since the theatre possesses only 1 passenger elevator, it is operated by theatre personnel during the final 45 minutes prior to the start of the performance. Priority is given to elderly, mobility-impaired persons and anyone who requests such a service. Priority Access Requests are accepted by email or phone.
