LA BOHEME - 20 APRIL 2024
Making it a memorable night!
1) What should I wear?
Recommended Dress code for an opera night is Gala. The ethos of an opera night at the Aurora says: ‘You can never be over-dressed for an opera at the Aurora’. So ladies are expected to trail the red carpet in long gowns (even though shorter party dresses or suit dresses are accepted), while men are invited to swap their office ties for bow ties for this special night, if they feel they want to dazzle a little more than usual. Whatever’s bold and makes a creative statement, that’s certainly a winning way to go. Patrons, especially those not accustomed to Maltese climate, are advised to take note that weather in APRIL in Malta may already be quite warm.
2) Are cloakrooms available?
No. There are no cloakrooms available. Coats, bags, umbrellas and bulky items have to be kept in close proximities without creating discomfort to others. Coat hangers are, however, provided in the boxes.
3) What about dining?
Yes! We are very pleased we can now cater for this request of yours, thanks to the Zammit collaborators running The Blue Lion. Further details and menus will be announced in due course. However, reservation is highly recommended.
