TEATRU TAL-OPRA AURORA,
VICTORIA, GOZO, MALTA
As if 5 superstar acts weren't enough, Leone Goes Pop's delighted to present a warm-up act by XARULÚ! Yes! That’s how far this production is going to create the most rapturous atmosphere for its public, which we now know is close to rounding up a thousand heads.

As if 5 superstar acts weren’t enough, Leone Goes Pop’s delighted to present a warm-up act by XARULÚ! Yes! That’s how far this production is going to create the most rapturous atmosphere for its public, which we now know is close to rounding up a thousand heads.

They humbly describe themselves as “two friends playing acoustic guitars and “singing sweet songs of melodies pure and true”…” but their fan base and their string of appearances speak volumes about them and the music they create.

They have in a short time gone on to perform at some of Malta’s most high-profile events including Rockestra, Notte Bianca, the Farsons Beer Festival, and served as the entertainment act during the Malta Eurovision Song Contest. Guitarists Josef (vocals) and Luke (backing vocals) are also penning and recording original material that reflects their very interesting personalities and brings a fresh whim into the Maltese music industry.

Why Xarulú?

Picture this. Audiences walking into the splendour of the Aurora Opera House, getting immersed in the sheer beauty of it all… Nothing of that sort. That goes for opera nights!

For Leone Goes Pop, our people will walk into a proper concert arena, and while they wait for Colin Attard to lead the Leone Band into its long expected 13th edition, Xarulú will keep the audience entertained and build an electrifying atmosphere.

Aurora opens its doors at 8pm. Xarulú start at 8:30pm. The Leone Band follows at 9pm.
