1 Attendance of the event is deemed to be acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2 Refunds for performance tickets are payable only for tickets returned before 30 days prior to the performance. 90% refund is payable for tickets returned from 30 days to 7 days prior to the performance. No refunds will be issued on tickets returned during the last 7 days. Exchanges for performance tickets, or the replacement of lost, stolen or missing tickets may be permitted under certain conditions and fees may apply, in which case, a list of charges, as per policy, would be published in advance. In the lack of such information, it may be assumed that no fees would, at the time, be applicable.
3 The Aurora Theatre handles all personal data with the strictest confidentiality. Mobile phone numbers provided will be kept by the theatre’s data handlers and used only in case of emergency. Email addresses provided will be kept by the theatre’s technical staff and used only for the theatre’s own mailing list, from which anyone may unsubscribe at any time. Neither mobile phone numbers nor email addresses will be disclosed to any third parties. The Aurora Theatre does not, at any time, store bank account or bank card details.
4 The venue can be accessed on foot from Republic Street or from the Victoria Car Park. No parking is allowed in front of the theatre’s main entrance.
5 The management reserves the right of admission. Latecomers will only be admitted to the performance during a suitable break, which could be as late as the first interval.
6 Performances are usually scheduled to start at 7.30pm. Some might start at 8pm. Please check the starting times carefully. Doors will be open 45 minutes in advance. In case of adverse weather conditions, patrons are kindly requested to plan in advance, as access to the theatre might be slower.
7 Wheel-chair users or mobility-impaired patrons are kindly requested to inform the theatre in advance and use the main entrance from Republic Street. They shall be given preferential access to the passenger-elevator. Theatre personnel shall be available for assistance.
8 Artistes may be added, withdrawn or substituted for performances.
9 Any bag, umbrella, coat or any other item has to be kept within the patron’s personal space, provided it does not create discomfort to other patrons.
10 Camera, video and audio recorders may not be used inside the theatre unless expressly authorised. The theatre reserves the right to broadcast or telecast any event. Mobile phones are to be switched off during the performance.
11 Patrons who repeatedly breach this condition, despite cordial warnings by theatre personnel may be asked to leave the premises.
12 No food or drink is allowed inside the theatre, including stalls, boxes and tiers. The theatre has a strict no-smoking policy applicable to all areas of the venue.
13 Ticket holders enter the venue at their own risk. The Teatru tal-Opra Aurora will not be responsible for any loss, damage or injury arising from a pre-existing medical condition or due to a breach of these conditions.
14 This ticket may not, without the prior written consent of the Teatru tal-Opra Aurora, be resold for commercial packages or at a premium.
