The 2020 new-production of Aida which was set to open the 2020/21 theatre season, and eventually postponed to October 2021 has now been once more postponed to October 2022. This was made public by the Aurora opera house after consultations with the Ministry for Gozo and Arts Council Malta.
As part of the global World Opera Day celebrations celebrated on 25th October around the world, the Aurora Opera House is pleased to stream the 2009 production of Giuseppe Verdi’s all-time favourite, Aida, this Thursday 29th October 2020 at 2030hrs (Central European Time).
